About

From my very early pre-digital days of photojournalism classes and later working as an assistant photographer and dark room technician for UF, I have loved the art of creating photographs and telling stories. Every location, person, object, detail or situation is unique and I am passionate about bringing out the nuances of what makes a good picture a Great picture.

I started my photography business and Gainesville360 in 2005. I saw a need in our local marketplace for good real estate photography and have been very involved in our local community ever since.

As an affiliate member of  Gainesville/Alachua Association of Realtors (GACAR) since 2005, I am involved with service committees every year to help improve and enrich the organization. I am also the past Vice President of Professional Photographers of North Central Florida (PPNCF), a local chapter of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) where we learn about the art and  science of photography and educate our members and the public about the highest standards of professional photography and ethics.

As I educate and stretch myself as a professional and artist, my business continues to grow and expand. Since the latter part of 2007,  I have been studying video and in the fall of 2009, launched a new product, Fusion Video for Real Estate. Fusion video is the art of combining beautiful photography with amazing video for compelling, high-impact presentations. It allows me to tell more of the story, to delve deeper into what it is like to experience the beauty of “being there.”

This is a very exciting time to be a photographer. I admit, I am a bit of a gear head and lighting freak. I love technology and the nuances of finding or creating beautiful light – it’s how I express myself as a photographer and videographer.
